A Personal Story

Last spring, seventeen-year-old Aisha dreamed of reviving a neglected community garden. With little more than passion and an idea, she joined our Youth Innovation Academy—and, thanks to our seed grant and hands-on mentorship, transformed that overgrown lot into a thriving urban oasis where neighbours now gather, learn, and grow food together.

Our Mission

At Cause Y Not, we believe every young person holds the spark of positive change. Through our Innovation Academy, we:

Pair participants with experienced mentors

Offer skill-building workshops (from project planning to digital media)

Provide small grants so ideas move from concept to reality

By keeping our programs 100% free, we remove financial barriers and empower youth from all backgrounds to lead community projects that matter.
