Honor Shannon Keene -- Support Evan and Ella's Future
Donation protected
Our hearts are broken with the passing of our dear friend, Shannon Keene, on July 11, 2025, in Croatia while she was visiting with her husband, Dave, and children, Evan and Ella, and supporting Evan’s water polo training camp. Our only solace in this tragedy is knowing that Shannon enjoyed every minute of her 10-day adventure in Croatia with her family, whom she loved with all her heart and soul.
Shannon was a light to everyone who knew her – always offering a smile, a hug and genuine warmth. You could feel the love she had for you. Shannon was also fiercely loyal. She dedicated over 30 years to her work at Skechers, building friendships around the world and leaving a legacy of strength, kindness and commitment. Shannon has many circles of friends – her lifelong friends, her preschool mom friends, her water polo communities and Skechers colleagues – to name of few. We share this grief with so many who loved her and it’s hard to imagine that Shannon is no longer physically here with us.
We are all looking for meaningful ways to help Dave and the kids navigate this new and difficult world. Shannon’s greatest wish was to see Evan and Ella succeed and grow into the lives she wished for them. Dave has graciously permitted us to start this GoFundMe campaign to give friends the opportunity to help Evan and Ella continue their education and chase their dreams.
Let’s surround the Keenes with strength, support and love, and honor Shannon’s memory by giving her children the love and future she wanted for them. Please consider donating and sharing this link with others. (Thank you to those who have already donated on the Meal Train site – we have now moved to this platform.)
Thank you for all your love, kindness and support during this heartbreaking time.
