Intrepid IRENE Deserves Our Support for CuriousAdventures

fellow fans of Irene and her CuriousAdventures,

For more than a year, Irene Koutny has brightened our lives by taking us along on her Hangover Free Hikes – from the Pacific Coast to the crest of the Sierras – via her Facebook page and YouTube channel. GoPro camera in hand, she has given us a portal into the unparalleled beauty of nature, always with a joyful outlook, despite tackling immensely challenging treks. Irene’s mission to promote hangover free hiking and sobriety is most compelling.

While enriching our lives, Irene has burdened the costs of travel, equipment, subscriptions, and overhead. She already gives generously of her time. I’m appealing directly to you to assist Irene on the next stage of her journey. My goal is to raise $1,000 to gift Irene with three specific objectives:

>Send Irene to Catalina Island to complete the 38.5 mile Trans Catalina Trail (TCT);

>Purchase a quality mic so Irene can professionalize her commentary on the videos we all enjoy; and

>Create a new Hangover Free Perks hiking group for Irene to engage more fans on the trail.

Today we celebrate an anniversary with Irene: 2 years and 6 months of sobriety! I propose we make quick work of this fundraiser, so we can get Irene out on the dusty trail before the winter rains settle in. If 50 fans were to give $20 each, then we will meet our goal. Any amount is appreciated – no amount is too small – every little bit gets us closer to success.
