Want to join me in making a difference? I'm raising money to benefit International Medical Relief, and any donation will help make an impact. Thanks in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me. Although some of my friends and family members have donated through my website below, I am still $2000 short from my fundraising goal. Therefore, I am creating this GoFundMe page to help bridge the gap.
As many of you in my network know, I have recently come back from a tremendous trip to travel around Vietnam, my home country. Although I was born and raised in Vietnam for 19 years before I came to the US, the poverty, and the lack of medical assessment still touched my heart.
Therefore, I decided to devote 2 weeks at the end of this year to join a medical mission trip, to Vietnam, to my root and to give back to my country! Vietnam is one of the 57 underserved countries in the world that International Medical Relief, a registered 501(c)3 medical organization with NGO status based in the US, provides mobile medical clinics and sustainable health education to. On behalf of International Medical Relief, I will be working alongside other qualified volunteers and medical professionals to provide health care in some of the most impoverished regions of this area. We are confident that we will be able to help more people than ever, but we need financial assistance to help the trip be successful. The majority of the cases we will witness are treatable and we will bring medicines and medical supplies to help these people and save lives. The information we provide to both the patient and the local health care community will be invaluable to them long after we leave. We will be providing humanitarian outreach to the physical needs of these people and also give them hope through community health classes, caring, sharing, and showing them our compassion.
More information about International Medical Relief: To provide access to medical care in underserved and vulnerable communities around the world to improve the health, wellness, medical relief and quality of life of those populations most in need. This is done through short term medical mission trips where volunteers give their time and services for the medical relief of the developing world.
While 2 weeks is too little time to treat all the sick, it is nevertheless ample time to plant the seeds of hope in their lives for a promising future. We invite you to take part with our medical team through financial giving, encouragement, and support. Each team member will need to provide donations to cover our personal expenses. If after thoughtful consideration, if you feel led to support us financially, please fill out the enclosed response form and return it to the address given. Most importantly, I hope you spread the words about these medical mission trips so that more lives in the underserved communities around the world will be touched! Thank you!
