Interfaith Housing Headboard Manufacturing

My name is Henry Limber. I am a Boy Scout in Troop 43, located in East Dallas, and a junior attending Jesuit College Preparatory School in Dallas.  Currently, I am working towards the rank of Eagle Scout and raising money to complete my Eagle Scout public service project. For my project, I am manufacturing headboards for Interfaith Housing to use in their apartments. Interfaith Housing provides housing for homeless families, mainly single mothers with young children, for up to a year. The apartments are rent-free for unemployed clients. Currently, the apartments are small with few places to sit and relax, so by putting headboards on all the beds, this creates extra places to sit and relax or work. A team of scouts and I will create cushioned headboards for multiple apartments using materials purchased with the money I am able to raise. All extra funds will be donated to Interfaith Housing.
