My name is Kailey. I am a student at Northern Arizona University studying non-profit management and strategic leadership. This summer I was honored to be given the opportunity to work with an amazing non-profit based in Uganda, the Mwache Shuleni Foundation. This amazing, volunteer-based organization has one goal in mind: helping young mothers that have been ostracized from the community to find a sense of community and engagement. They help foster a sense of belonging and assist these young women with healthcare needs, educational needs and with establishing a sense of self-worth. Music helps build confidence, joy, and connection in a community where young moms often feel isolated from society. The goal is to reach 500$ to purchase a bass guitar and keyboard to start rehearsals. With your support, these moms will have the chance to express themselves, build friendships, and develop new skills through music.
Your support = their sound
Help young moms express themselves, build friendships, and grow through the power of music.
Donate today. Every dollar makes a difference.
• $5 = 1 keyboard key closer to our goal
• $10 = A fret on the bass
• $25 = String pack for the bass
• $50 = A pedal for the piano
