Install Signage and Lifesaving Equipment at Kamloops Beaches

Hi, my name is Robert, I live in Kamloops and was involved in a river rescue of two international students in 2024. Since then, I've advocated for installation of better warning signage and life rings at City of Kamloops beaches and parks without success.

Kamloops has experienced three drownings in 12 months (Stan Cappis July 12, 2024, unknown male Sept 2024, Jatin Garg, July 19, 2025) and countless near drownings.

The City has taken a position that they can't do anything else to prevent drowning, but I think we can prevent drowning in and around Kamloops with better signage and installation of a few seasonal life rings at City of Kamloops beaches.

Please help me raise some money to design and purchase signage and some life ring stands to install at Kamloops beaches and parks on a seasonal basis. All labor and time is volunteer, all funds raised will go to purchase of signage and life rings.
