Hello,
My name is Nadia and I have published an Indian and Pakistani cookery book which was lost and found 30 years later. The Road from Karachi. My mother wrote the original in the 1980s and I then found a copy. I have re-published it but would like to use the skills from this book for the community to learn from. I have schools involved and local restaurants creating special dishes to raise for water pumps. This book is also being used in food tech classes.
I though have a target of 1000 water pumps and so far have met 179 water pumps!
Each water pump raised from the people of Portsmouth gets the Portsmouth crest on the pump to share the love of where it all started.
I would love you to help me reach 1000 clean water pumps and help make a huge difference to others needing water in India, Pakistan, Africa, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
We also help supply clean water bottles to Syria and Afghanistan. One water pump costs £300 through our CIC.
