Inspiration of Hope Rebuild Hot Springs Community Center

I had the opportunity to serve the community of Hot Springs, NC, as the incident commander for an incident management team in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Helene. During my time in Hot Springs, the community showed their resiliency after losing most of their businesses and economic cash flow. After returning to my home community in Brunswick County, NC, I felt the need to help even more.

I came up with the idea to have our community adopt the Hot Springs Community Center and rehabilitate the building so it once again can be used as a place to gather in the community. My vision is to provide an inspiration of hope to the community. I have been working with the Mayor of Hot Springs to coordinate this effort to meet the needs of the Hot Springs community.

I have the support of volunteers that plan to travel to Hot Springs from December 5th through 8th to tackle this project. I'm looking for support to cover the materials and expenses to make this project successful.
