We are Onica and Brian, founders of Ink Intervention.
As two former corrections professionals, we understand how difficult it is for Coloradans who have been incarcerated to rebuild their lives after serving sentences in our prisons. This generally results in limited employment opportunities that contribute to reoffending.
At Ink Intervention, we provide mobile laser tattoo removal services to Coloradans who have paid their debts to society and are re-entering Colorado communities after incarceration, helping them remove highly-visible, gang-related, antisocial, racist, and offensive tattoos that are no longer reflective of their values and that block their path to employment and a fresh start. We are committed to providing our services at no cost.
Our aftercare model includes a broad network of community partners that will assist our returning Coloradans with workforce training, job placement services, mental health resources, and financial assistance.
We are changing lives, enhancing community safety, and providing hope and opportunity to formerly incarcerated Coloradans, one treatment at a time. And we need your support.

Studies show that individuals who are able to secure steady employment after incarceration are 80% less likely to reoffend, making our mission a critical piece in creating safer, stronger communities.
We sympathize with anyone in Colorado who has been criminally victimized so much that we are doing everything within our control to create opportunities for our formerly incarcerated citizens to change their behaviors, thoughts, attitudes, and inspire others around them to give back to the communities that they once took from until Colorado is a statewide community synonymous with peaceful and civil living.
Our Vision:
We are raising $125,000 to launch Ink Intervention's mobile tattoo removal program, which will allow us to travel directly to correctional facilities and community reentry centers across Colorado. Your contribution will help cover:
- A licensed and insured van outfitted with the equipment to provide on-site treatments.
- A laser tattoo removal machine that can remove tattoos safely and effectively.
- Two full-time employees trained to provide compassionate care.
- Medical oversight and insurance, ensuring all treatments are safe and professionally managed.
- A mobile app to track treatment progress and impact while protecting privacy and confidentiality.
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) and necessary safety measures to ensure the health of both our staff and clients.
