The Cause:

Since 2017, Inizio Engage (formally Ashfield Healthcare) has come together as a group to raise money for worthy causes. This year our charity event is raising money for two local charities.

Rainbows is a Loughborough based hospice, caring for hundreds of families every year who have a baby, child or young person with a serious or terminal illness. Our donation will support the critical care they give to families who desperately need it.

Bright Hope is also a hospice, based out of North West Leicestershire that was founded in 2012. Bright Hope offers a range of therapeutic and social care services in the local area to those who have a life limiting condition or one that leads to a significant reduction in quality of life.

The Challenge:

This year a collection of colleagues based at Excelsior House, Ashby, will be taking on a marathon walk, starting in Nottingham, all the way back to Ashby De La Zouch. To up the stakes we'll be having a little friendly competition with our sister company, Emota.

This competition will include the 20 mile walk, a step count challenge over the week as well as exercise equipment for those in our office over the day, who will be contributing to the effort.
