Infosec BattleBots Arena and Bot Building Fund

Hello! We are Infosec BattleBots — Lewis, Tim, and Ben.

We proudly run a touring BattleBot arena at major UK BSides events, including BSidesLancs, BSidesExeter, SteelCon, BsidesNcl, and BSidesBasingstoke, to name a few. Many of you have witnessed our exciting battles, and some may have even participated in the thrilling chaos of our arena!

However, it’s important to recognize that maintaining our arena and bots incurs significant costs. Although the events we attend help cover our travel and accommodation expenses, we continually face substantial financial challenges to keep both the bots and the arena running.

We are launching this GoFundMe campaign with a goal to raise £1,000 by the end of April and a total of £2,400 to secure the next 6 months of Infosec BattleBots.

The initial £1,000 will be allocated as follows:

* £400 for essential arena upgrades, including "The Crane".

* £300 for new BattleBot printing facilities.

* £300 for filament needed for the next 3-6 events.

Anything we raise over this will go towards the running of conference events and workshops.
