Support Jorryn's Kili Climb 2025 with ICO
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Jorryn Yapadi.
Born in Jakarta and raised in Ontario, I’m now a fourth-year Cognitive Science student at UBC, Vancouver-Canada, a musician, and an avid hiker.
This July, I’m climbing Mount Kilimanjaro with my family—not just for the adventure, but to support causes close to my heart.
With support from my mom, Emmy of Tucan Holistic, I’m partnering with the Indonesian Community of Ontario (ICO) to raise funds for:
Bali Street Mums Project – Helping mothers and children escape trafficking and street life.
Half of the funds raised will support these impactful initiatives in Indonesia, while the other half will help me take on this meaningful journey as a student climber.
Will you help me move mountains?
Every donation, big or small, fuels this mission of compassion and connection.
Thank you for believing in this journey.
*Indonesian Community of Ontario (ICO) — a dynamic organization preserving cultural heritage, delivering disaster relief, and building bridges across communities, keeping Indonesia's spirit alive in Canada.
Updates on July 31, 2025:
We made it to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro!
This wasn’t just a physical climb—it was a mission of purpose, and your support carried us all the way.
50% of the funds raised are supporting ICO, an incredible organization in Bali helping women and children impacted by trafficking.
The other 50% ended up supporting the mountain porters—men who climb high altitudes with no socks, torn jackets, and no gloves at the summit. Many carry heavy loads with unmatched strength and have no steady income for their families. Our hearts stay with them.
We’ve shared the full story, photos, and the lessons we learned on the mountain, click here
This journey reminded us: with faith, compassion, and community—no mountain is too high.
Thank you for climbing with us!
This fundraising is now closed.
