Indigenous Sustenance Reclamation Network (ISRN)
**Please note: Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion is raising these funds on behalf of Indigenous Sustenance Reclamation Network**
Indigenous Sustenance Reclamation Network (ISRN) is a collective of 3 grassroots programs that center traditional food and medicine learning needs, wants and desires of Indigenous women and 2S/Queer community members in Southern Ontario. ISRN offers programming and activities that support Indigenous community members in (re)connecting with their nation's traditional sustenance teachings and practices. The three programs housed within ISRN are: Aunty's Basket, Kahnekanoron, and Revitalizing Our Sustenance Project. Reclaiming food and medicine skills and teachings is our way of honoring our ancestors and building more equitable and sustainable communities. Funds donated to Indigenous Sustenance Reclamation Network will go towards honoraria for elder and knowledge holder facilitators, equipment for program gardens and farms, supplies and materials for workshops, and staffing for youth and young adults who organize and facilitate ISRN programming. You can find out more about the Indigenous Sustenance Reclamation Network at www.isrn.ca. Nia:wen, thank you to our organizational mentor Hamilton Centre for Civic Inclusion, for hosting this GoFundMe on our behalf.
