Hi my name is Bron Lewis and I am running as an independent candidate for the seat of Finniss in the State Elections on 21 March.

I am EXPERIENCED, ENERGETIC AND EFFECTIVE.

I have a reputation for getting things done, my partner Stan and I are active in multiple community groups from Milang, Goolwa, Middleton, Port Elliot through to Yankalilla and every day work to give back to the community. We are not rich, but we try to be kind, and that kindness sometimes makes a big difference to people as witnessed in the recent fires where we volunteered for 11 days straight.

I believe the seat of Finniss has been taken for granted by the major parties and has thus not attracted the financial support and attention from government that less deserving marginal seats attract. I am confident that with my skills, experience and energy I can work with the community and the government to reverse this. My values align with the old-fashioned small L and include valuing the volunteer, speaking up for injustice and the concept of a fair go for all.

Unlike my opponents who have either Political party support up to $100k and a previous contester who is getting about $40k from the government, I am only eligible for $5k This makes it very hard for me to have equity when the mailouts to 28 thousand households is about $10k.
