independent US filmmaking of Dean Lung's story

Hello everyone, I'm Xiaoming, a freshman at the University of Washington. I am proud to be of Chinese descent.

I was deeply moved when I heard Dean Lung's story. One hundred years ago, during the "Chinese Exclusion Act" implementation in the United States, Dean Lung, a Chinese valet, donated all his savings. With the help of wealthy businessman Horace Carpentier, he set up the "Dean Lung Chair Professorship" at Columbia University to introduce studies about Chinese people and culture. Now that North American Maple Cultural Center (NAMCC) decided to make a movie of Dean Lung, to let more people know his deeds. To thank him for his outstanding contribution to improving Chinese descendants living and educational opportunities, I would raise funds for the film Dean Lung.
