I'm a neuroscientist and freelance journalist exposing corruption in science and tech in service to humanity.

As Congress ratchets up regulatory oversight of people in the Epstein files, these decision-makers will need accurate and thorough information about what exactly scientists did in association with Jeffrey Epstein.

Since February 2, 2026, I have read through thousands of Epstein files and related media coverage, and have conducted interviews with people knowledgeable about Epstein's orbit. Over the past 10 months, I have uncovered at least 188 scientists with questionable involvement with Jeffrey Epstein.

The involvement of Epstein with scientists is, in a word, substantial.

A small number of these scientists have admitted their Epstein ties and resigned. Epstein-affiliated scientists, even those leaving their roles to avoid being investigated, have largely denied any wrongdoing -- even, in some cases, where the Epstein files call that into question.

I have found that scientists in the Epstein files have a high rate of misconduct -- whether research misconduct or behavioral misconduct.

They also benefitted from an unfair playing field in which they received money and others did not -- giving them an edge that their work perhaps did not necessarily merit.

There's a reason so many important scientists are in the Epstein files, if you ask me -- it's because Jeffrey Epstein helped them become successful.

This work is tedious and time-consuming. It has not been easy, but it has revealed information above and beyond what has been found in traditional media and news reports. My work reviewing thousands of Epstein files over the past 10 months has revealed, for example, that Jeffrey Epstein spent the summer of 2013 inviting scientists to his ranch -- which was, coincidentally, the summer he was de-banked from his long time banking institution, JP Morgan Chase, due to his questionable activities.

When he went to jail, scientists visited him and wrote notes of support and encouragement. When he got out of jail, his name appeared on taxpayer-funded science papers as a generous benefactor.

In other words: Jeffrey Epstein shaped science, both directly and indirectly.

Scientists in the US typically do research on the taxpayer's dime -- so what they do is more than fair game for federal scrutiny. Many top scientists have also been supported financially by Jeffrey Epstein, whether in terms of lavish all-expenses-paid conference trips, research funding, meetings with catered food, or even friendship.

Epstein's involvement in science is beyond problematic for science culture, not to mention for Epstein survivors.

I am raising money to take my "Science in the Epstein files" project full-time to learn as much as possible about scientists in the Epstein files through interviews, research, and more.

As someone who has previously worked on Capitol Hill, I know that when Congress has good information, they act on it.

I want to provide that information for them -- and for the public.

Science deserves better.

We, as taxpayers, deserve a science ecosystem free of enablement of crimes against women and children.

This GoFundMe pays for three months of my expenses so that I can pursue research, conduct interviews, and publish grassroots, independent journalism in the form of blogs and shortform videos.

This work is part of the Epstein files science and tech coalition at Humanwrites.info -- we are a group of journalists allied to uncover the dark history of Epstein's influence in science and tech.

The "Science in the Epstein files" project started in February 2026 when I found my former professor in the Epstein files. He's since left academia -- in part due to my shortform video journalism and blogs about him.
