“We’re not just building a gym… we’re building belonging.
My journey to creating The Sensory Station started long before I ever imagined launching a foundation. As a police officer, I had the privilege of working closely with individuals and families of all abilities. I saw firsthand the challenges they faced—not just in moments of crisis, but in everyday life.
Then I became a father of neurodivergent children, each with their own unique abilities, strengths, and needs. That’s when it became personal. I realized something that I couldn’t ignore—there was no one place designed for them. No environment that truly supported full-body wellness, sensory needs, and individual growth in a way that felt inclusive, empowering, and safe.
That’s why The Sensory Station was created.
This is more than a facility—it’s a child-led experience. While we will offer structured classes and programs, the heart of what we’re building is a space where children can choose what they need in the moment. Whether it’s movement, stimulation, calm, or sensory deprivation, every child deserves access to tools that help them regulate, grow, and thrive—on their own terms.
We are creating a place where differences are not just accepted—they are celebrated. A place where families feel understood, supported, and connected.
Because every child deserves a place where they truly belong.”
