Inca Toys for Ninos 2025 - toys for kids in rural Cusco Peru

Welcome to the 2025 edition of Inca Toys for Ninos - our 6th year!!!!

We have successfully completed another lap around the sun and the weather is changing, but what never changes are the needs of the children.

Hola - my name is David and every Christmas since the pandemic (2020), my Peruvian brother, Danny, and I have run a toy drive at Christmas which we now call Inca Toys For Ninos. I send the funds that we raise to Danny who then buys toys, panettones (Christmas breads), hot chocolate, food, and more. Danny then goes to the rural villages outside of Cusco, Peru, and distributes the gifts and foods to the needy children in the villages.

Last year we came so close to our $5,000 goal (I think we were just $100 or so short) and we are hoping that 2025 will be the first year that we reach it and maybe even surpass it!!!!

The girl (from December 2023) on the front page of the GoFundMe is one of the many children we have reached. We went to her village a few days after Christmas and Danny gave her a doll and a panettone. She is crying because Christmas had passed and she didn't get anything and she thought she was forgotten - until Danny showed up!!!! Danny and I are driven by these heartwarming stories and the smiles and thanks from los ninos.

The Cusco province in Peru is an incredibly beautiful place - but there is a lot of poverty in the rural villages. I hope the girl's story and all of the pictures will inspire you to help us bring a little tiny bit of Christmas to many more children. I grew up outside of Baltimore and I always had plenty of Christmas presents. Danny grew up in the tiny village of Carmen (between Cusco and Abancay) - he and his family were very poor and he never got anything for Christmas. So, Danny knows how sad that can make a child. So, please help us bring some Christmas smiles and joy to children who otherwise would not have them.

All of the money raised will be sent to Danny in Cusco and be used for the children.

May the Pachamama and the Inti always smile upon you and fill your heart with a special glow and happiness that allows you to enjoy every blessed day and empowers you to do good things for yourself, your family and others. May your lives be blessed with peace and joy.

Munay.
