In the Loop Cafe!

 

In The Loop Cafe is a celebration of the neurodiverse community in Seattle and beyond!

 

We need spaces where we don't have to mask to be accepted. In The Loop Cafe is a space that feels comfortable and provides a sense of connection. We have great coffee, tea and treats. In the afternoons and weekends, we hold events and groups: art, music, gaming, comics, karaoke and more. Great coffee, nice quirky vibe, beautiful art...it's the best of the real Seattle: no attitude,  just 'come as you are'.

 

Educators, providers, families and allies will love it here. But the core focus of In The Loop Cafe is to create vibrant community for neurodivergent youth and young adults. These are incredible young folks with incredible strengths to share. And when they connect with their peers and feel accepted, magical things happen.

Your support helps us operate a cafe where neurodivergent people can connect with each other and where they can also share their insights and talents with the broader community. Your support helps us provide training to neurodivergent young adults who want to explore the coffee industry. And your support also helps us create a space to amplify neurodivergent art, music and presentations.

From cafe equipment to operations support, you can help this effort grow! Funds from this campaign will make this cafe a sustaining force, celebrating the neurodiverse community for many years to come.   

To everyone reading this: after an awful two years, we might naturally feel the need to retreat. But, instead, we must reach out.

For neurodivergent youth and their families, that means connecting with their community and  also sharing their talents and insights with the  world. Our mission at In the Loop Cafe is simple: help make that happen. Please help us fulfill this mission at this very critical time.
