On Saturday, April 6th, the unthinkable happened when Derek, Siobhan, Sarah and Emma Acheson lost their home, their personal belongings and most importantly, their cherished dog, Kabana, to fire.

The Acheson family has been living in Sudbury since 2006 and believe in supporting their community. For anyone that knows them, they have been consistent contributors and many have benefited from their generosity of time and efforts --whether it is in support of a family, in our schools, or in our sports teams, they do so quietly and without hesitation. It is why we ask that you extend that same philosophy of supporting community to help the Acheson family.

It will be a long road for them to rebuild their life and home, and the goal of this fundraiser is to provide the family with the financial support needed to pay for so many unforeseen expenses.
