In Remembrance of David Rufo: Help His Family

Hello everyone, I am Daniel Rufo. On April 22nd, 2025, my father, David Rufo, passed away. For the past 12 years, he had been battling Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood cancer with no definitive cure. Until 2023, he had been working with this diagnosis in the NY Courts system to reach his pension. Due to his cancer, he has had spinal surgery and hip surgery, both leaving him with steel rods and screws in his body. On top of that, he also dealt with many other health issues such as gallbladder and walking issues.

This GoFundMe page is being made to give support to us, his family, through this hard time. The mortgage on our house is $240,000. This is a big number, but we believe that through many generous donations, we can even exceed this goal. My father has always been a kind and giving person, and anyone who knew him personally would vouch for that fact. I’m hoping you can give as much as you can, but even a single dollar counts, and if not, spreading my word of mouth is just as important and appreciated.
