In My Father’s Steps: Spaghetti Sundays

I don't usually open up like this, but this is a big deal to me. Something that's been on my heart for a long time, and I believe it's time to speak.
When I was 11 years old, back in 2016, my dad, a man of God, a man who lived to serve, showed me what it truly means to love people. One Sunday night, after an event, there was extra spaghetti. Instead of letting it go to waste, he looked at me and said: "Let's take this and feed the people who need it most."
We stopped and grabbed bottled water, packed up the meals, and drove around until we found people who were hungry. That one night turned into every Sunday. And every Sunday turned into something bigger, food, clothes, prayers, even pet food, a community built around loving people right where they were. I don't know whose lives we changed, but I know it changed mine, and it's stuck with me every single day since then.
Now, almost a decade later, I can't ignore what I feel in my spirit. My heart has been extremely heavy watching what's happening in our world, the violence, the division, the pain. And yet, the louder the brokenness gets, the louder I hear God's call to do something. Love them. Serve them. Be the light.
This is bigger than me. This is bigger than all of us. This is for God and for taking care of his. I want to gather people who believe we can make a difference, not by doing something complicated, but by showing up with love, with food, with compassion, with open hands.
Whether it's feeding the hungry, sharing a smile, listening to someone's story, or simply being present, it matters. I've been scared the last couple years that somehow I wouldn't succeed without my dad helping me to start this, but this is important to me and I'm gonna figure out how to make this work.I believe it's time. And I can't do it alone. I want people who feel the same call to step in, people who want to serve, to give, to do something bigger than themselves. Whether that looks like donating food or clothes, showing up to help, or simply being present with someone who needs it, it matters. even if this inspires you to do something good for someone your own life, that matters too. Gods calling.

For those of you who can’t be physically present but would still like to support, this fund will go directly toward providing food, water, Bibles, clothing, pet food, and other essentials for people in need.

Every dollar makes a difference, whether it helps put a meal in someone’s hands, shoes on their feet, or hope in their heart. Thank you for being part of something bigger than us.
