When I first signed up for the MK half Marathon, I wanted something to help me get fit again and raise some money for Charity.

Life then changed more than I could ever have imagined when my beautiful, caring mum was diagnosed with Cancer. She fought harder than anyone I have ever known, she was small but mighty in every single way but heartbreakingly passed away on the 16th January.

Now the reason I run the half marathon is in her memory, to raise money and give hope to others impacted by this horrendous illness.
