We are raising money for Team Impact in memory of William A. Kane III. Team impact matches children who have serious illness and disability with college sports teams, creating a long-term, life-changing experience.

 

We know that this charity is the right fit for honoring our dad, husband, brother, and friend. As a coach and mentor to so many, he helped young athletes reach their full potential on and off the field. He gave everyone a chance – no matter their size or skill level. He used athletics as a vehicle to give other areas of life meaning for the athletes he taught. It was never just about the game to him; his impact reached far beyond that. 

 

Team impact gives children facing unfathomable obstacles the opportunity to become a part of something bigger. If we reach our goal of $5,000, we will be able to match a child with their dream sports team. Equally important, we will give a sports team the opportunity to learn from a child with unique perspective and a lot to teach about life.

 

Donations will be matched by the Kane family and donated to Team Impact in William's name.
