Trigger Warning: depression/suicide

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of my beloved little brother, Victor, who lost his life to suicide on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Victor was an incredible brother, son, nephew, grandson, and friend—someone who brought wittiness, unmatched advice, and unconditional love into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Victor was exceptionally bright, making the Dean’s Honor List at UNLV’s School of Engineering and graduated Magnum Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. He had a sharp mind, a keen sense of style, and a deep passion for anime, especially Dragon Ball Z, Bleach, and Jujutsu Kaisen. Gaming was another source of joy for him—not just for competition, but for the laughter, camaraderie, and clever banter shared with his best friends (Dankus forever).

Many have kindly asked how they can help. This GoFundMe is available for those who wish to contribute. Most proceeds will be donated to a mental health nonprofit organization in Victor’s honor, along with the Buddhist temple that has compassionately guided our family through this difficult time.

Another meaningful way to support is through prayer. It has been deeply comforting to see friends from diverse faiths praying for Victor’s beautiful soul.

Thank you for every kindness, expression of love, and moment of positivity you brought into my brother’s life. I hold deeply in my heart that Victor was never truly alone.
