In memory of Veronika Mrhova

With the heaviest heart, I announce the passing of my sweet sister Veronika. As many of you might not know my sister was tragically shot on Sunday morning, due to the serious injury and the amount of damage to her brain she was put in the ICU with 48 hours to live. My sister, at 24 had her whole life ahead of her and she leaves behind three young children. 
On February 13th, I was faced with the worst decision. I had to come to terms that my sister, the only sibling that god gifted me will never wake up. I had to accept my new reality and I decided to remove my sister off of life support and donate her organs so that she remains a hero is someone else’s life. 
This all came sudden and unexpectedly, and we would love to give my sister the proper goodbye she deserves. If you could please find it in your heart to donate, anything helps! We would greatly appreciate it.


We are heart broken and completely devastated no parent or sibling should have to bury their child / younger sister. 


Thank you to everyone who has reached out to myself and my family , we appreciate all your prayers, kind words and messages. It means the world to us to know she was loved immensely.

Together we shared a child’s world
We talked .. and we disagreed.
We shared many hurts and joys 
The older we grew the stronger he bond between us came.
I was always so proud to have you as my sister .
Now life has taken us down different paths, but your happiness will always be in my thoughts.
Neither the span of miles ..
Nor the years between us ..
Can ever change my love for you 
I love you sister , and I always will.


God blessed me with the greatest gift. Thank you for the honour of being my sister, you have been the greatest blessing of my life and I will never stop missing you.
