Tracy Carly/Healy
The light of our lives passed away suddenly on 05/28/2023 after succumbing to the ailments of decades of her illness Friedreichs Ataxia, a type of muscular dystrophy. Friedreichs Ataxia is a rare inherited disease that causes progressive damage to your nervous system and movement problems.
Tracy was born on 06/20/1977. She was a sensational child, full of charisma. Anyone she met was hooked on her electrifying personality. Tracy had a normal childhood. She loved to dance, ride bikes and spend time with her many cousins.
Tracy was diagnosed with Freidreichs Ataxia at the young age of eight years old.
As time went on Tracy became wheelchair bound and eventually lost her sight, hearing, and ability to walk/move. Quite literally trapped in her own body.
This disease takes everything from you as well as the people around you.
Tracy lived her life to the fullest despite the terrible disease she had to endure.
Tracy accomplished so much in her short almost 46 years of life – graduating college, & raising a family. Tracy never let her disease stop her or define her from doing exactly what she wanted for as long as she could.
As Tracy always did she rallied on. Never complained. Always made everyone feel like you were the most important person in the room.
Tracy meant so much to so many people. She has left a lifetime void in all of our lives and we will miss her so much.
She was totally dependent on her loved ones around her for round the clock care.
We are humbly asking for donations to help the Carly family while they navigate through this sudden loss to ease the financial burden they now all face so they can grieve properly.
Tracy leaves behind her husband Jim whose entire life revolved around caring for his wife as her illness progressed. He was her full time care taker for twenty years or more. She leaves behind her son John Peter (JP) whom now has to endure life without his mother. Tracys mother Joanne who dedicated her life & fought every day for her daughter now has to lay her to rest while recovering from knee surgery.
Tracy was uninsurable due to her disease therefore there was no life insurance and now Jim has lost his income being that he was Tracy's caretaker. JP is also out of work and his moms income was helping with his full time college. Jim and JP were Tracy's caretakers and they did this with love and grace.
Tracy would have done anything for anyone. Her acts of kindness and life have left a lifelong impact on many around her. Let’s ease this family’s burden as they now have to go on without their meaning of life.
