On Monday, October 15, 2018, the Nguyen family suffered from an unexpected loss of Thinh Nguyen in a terribly tragic car accident. Thinh has left behind his loving wife Thuy, his two-year-old daughter Sumi, his two parents, his siblings, nieces, and nephews, and many other heartbroken family members, friends, colleagues, and GDPT community members. Thinh was a great friend to many, and although his life was short, he has left a lasting impression that will linger on in our hearts.

His wife is currently in trauma ICU from the accident, suffering from broken leg and shoulder and hand fractured. She will have months and years of therapy to recover while going into the life of a single-mother, we would like to help her with any future obstacles through this difficult time.

Behind Thinh’s goofy and stubborn personality, lies the most kind-hearted individual. Thinh was always welcoming and the people all around him knew that they would be able to turn to him for help in any way.

Although his time with his adorable baby daughter, Sumi, was short, she was his world.
This page has been set up by the friends and family of Thinh and Thuy because many have been expressing their desire to help the family in need. The time ahead will be rough, and any help is greatly appreciated.
