In Loving Memory of Marie-Laurence "Sandy " Ciceron — Supporting Her Four Children
Our hearts are shattered as we share that our sister, Marie-Laurence Ciceron, or as we all knew her, “Sandy,” passed away on Friday, September 19, 2025, after a short and aggressive battle with adenoid cystic carcinoma.
Sandy entered the hospital on July 30, 2025, believing she was suffering from heat exhaustion. Instead, she was told she had Stage III cancer that had already spread to every major organ. In just seven weeks, our vibrant, loving, 37-year-old Sandy went from living her life with her children to saying her final goodbyes.
Her passing leaves behind four incredible children — ages 21, 15, 11, and 9 — who have already endured unimaginable loss. In December 2022, their father also passed away suddenly. Although they face life without both parents, their legacy of love lives on through the family that will surround them with the same warmth and guidance their parents provided.
In her final days, Sandy found peace in knowing her children would be loved and protected. She entrusted them to her older sister, who already has four children of her own, confident they would be raised with the same faith, compassion, and values she lived by.
This GoFundMe has been created to support Sandy’s children and their aunt and uncle, who are now their full-time caregivers. The funds raised will go directly toward:
• Daily living expenses (food, clothing, school supplies, transportation)
• Therapy and healthcare costs for Sandy’s children
No amount can replace their parents’ love, but with your help, we can make sure these children are surrounded by stability, care, and the same unconditional love that Sandy gave so freely.
Please consider donating or sharing this page with others who may want to help.
Sandy, your light will forever shine through your babies and through us.
Rest peacefully, our beautiful sister.
