On the 29th November 2024, we lost the most incredible man, Royal Marine Sam Morgan. A devoted father to three beautiful children and a loving husband to Holly, a cherished son, brother, and friend to so many others.
Sam served his country with courage and determination, completing three tours of Afghanistan. After returning, Sam fought his own battles & despite his strength and the support he gave to so many, he was struggling in ways that are hard to fully understand, and tragically, he lost his life to suicide. His loss has left a deep and lasting impact on everyone who knew and loved him.
In Sam’s memory, Morgan House was established to support veterans facing mental health challenges, something very close to his heart. Through this fundraiser, we hope to continue that legacy and provide vital support to those who need it most.
To raise money, Sam’s family and friends will be taking on a challenging walk across the Lake District, covering 60 miles from north to south over three days. This journey is not only a physical challenge, but a meaningful tribute to Sam and a way to raise awareness for mental health struggles within the veteran community.
Every donation, no matter the size, will go towards supporting friends of Morgan House and the incredible work it does. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this page would mean so much to us.
Most importantly, we want Sam to be remembered through this challenge and the support of our community, we hope to honour his memory and help others find the support they need.
Thank you xx
