S. Ranjit Singh recently traveled to India to visit his sick father. 

He passed away on May 17, 2021 in Punjab, India due to COVID-19. He was 40 years old. He lived in the United States for around two and a half years and just began his new journey with his family here in the US. He leaves behind his wife and three children (two daughters, 12 and 4 years old and a 4-month-old son). 

He was a cashier at a gas station in the Kansas City area. He was the sole provider of the family.

He often performed tabla seva (service) at Gurudawara Sahib without accepting anything in return. He adjusted his job schedule to make himself available for Gurudawara seva (service) as needed.  

While his family can never overcome this loss, we can all certainly help his family financially during this difficult time.
