I am writing on behalf of Shantae Brown, who has suffered yet another devastating loss. Her 12-year-old son, Rontae, drowned in the Monongahela River. The reality of how many people's lives this loss will touch is outstanding! Rontae was a bright, fun-loving student at Ringgold South Middle School. He enjoyed being around his family and friends. He loved playing outdoors. While swimming with his friends, Rontae was pulled under the water as friends, along with his little brother and sister, tried to save him to no avail. Rontae will be truly missed!

As we all know, losing a child is very devastating, mentally and physically. As the family grieves this tragic loss of their beautiful son, the family can use a little help with funeral arrangements. Anything will help in their time of need. Even a prayer goes a long way. Thank you to each and every one of you who have reached out to the family. It is very much appreciated.
