In Memory of Raul's Legacy: Support Mental Health Services
Donation protected
We have created this charity in honor of Raul D. Rivadeneyra, requesting that, in lieu of flowers or gifts for his funeral services, donations be made to support Neighborhood Road AA and Family Service League.
For Raul, Neighborhood Road AA was more than just a group; it was a second home and a source of unconditional love and support. The strength he gained with this community not only helped him navigate his challenges, but inspired him immensely. Family Service League provides vital mental health support to those struggling with depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and disabilities.
Our mission is to provide our community with comprehensive resources, support networks, and educational programs for individuals facing substance abuse or mental health issues, as well as their loved ones. Alcoholics Anonymous offers a welcoming space where real people share their stories and extend their hands to those in need. Raul was on the path to celebrating six years of sobriety, actively participating as a chairperson and sponsor. He was nothing short of a hero and a Saint. His strength and intelligence was truly inspiring to everyone he knew. Raul’s journey underscores the importance of this group in his life.
We aim to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations, particularly among men, who often face unique challenges in seeking help. It’s crucial to recognize that numerous resources exist and that no one is alone in their struggles. Neighborhood Road AA and Family Service League foster a safe, judgment-free environment where individuals can find hope and healing.
Your support for these local charities and support groups can make a difference—potentially saving lives. If you can’t contribute financially, please help by sharing this message. Remember, it’s okay to not be okay, and with honesty, trust, and perseverance, brighter days are ahead.
Thank you for your kindness and support.
