As we enter Ramadan, a month which is wrapped with family and togetherness, where we sit with each other every day and close and open our fasts, we sadly find ourselves without both our parents.

 

Our beloved dad passed away in September 2020 and our beloved mother held us together until she suddenly passed in November 2021. Our first Ramadan without our father was difficult but never did we imagine that just the following Ramadan we would be left without our mother too.

 

In memory of them I would like to raise money to help the less fortunate in Bangladesh. My parents loved to help people and never turned away those that came to them in need no matter how little they had. The money raised will go towards an orphanage and to fund a water well so that people can get access to clean water. 

 

May Allah swt accept my parents efforts and reward them in abundance for all that they did and grant them both the highest ranks of jannah and reunite them both.
