Hi, I’m Shannon — Sue’s daughter. On July 11, 2025, we experienced the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our mother. Her absence is deeply felt, leaving a space that can’t be filled. It’s been really hard to wrap our heads around as we’ve started sorting through everything she left behind.

On top of the sudden nature of our mom’s passing, we’re now faced with the task of taking care of what she left behind. Because of this, we find ourselves dealing with an unexpected amount of expenses — including, but not limited to, travel, meals, moving, and storage — just all the things that come with handling someone’s life after they’re gone. We’re holding each other up the best we can, but there’s a lot to manage, along with processing our grief.

I created this GoFundMe to help ease some of the pressure on our family as we tend to our mom’s final affairs. If you’re able to contribute — or even just share this — it mean so much to us as we wade through what was left behind.
