Im Sue, and I am and always will be Malc’s little sister. It breaks my heart to say that Malc is no longer with us, it was so sudden leaving behind his beautiful wife Jen, his 14yr old Son Oakley who was his world, also his family, friends and colleagues.
Malc was a gentle giant, full of life and character. You always knew when he walked into the room. I still have visions of him walking into the room saying ‘alright tin ribs’ the nickname he had for me since I was a child.
As many of you know, Malc, Jen and Oakley emigrated to Queensland, Australia in January 2023 to set up a new life. It was always his dream and I am so proud of what he achieved. He loved the Sunshine Coast, living his dream and it’s heartbreaking he has been taken away from us too soon.
I am blown away by the amount of support and kindness by so many people that knew Malc!
So many people in the UK and Australia have offered words of kindness and support, wanting to help and it’s amazing that times like this the people that matter shine! Jen and Oakley will be facing another move to a smaller property, which entails another change for Oakley’s education and Jen is focusing on working full time to achieve her dream job.
I have decided to do this page to reduce the financial strains, to allow breathing space and time to process this trauma for Jen and Oakley. It will also allow those who wish to contribute to a memorial for Malc.
We as a family would appreciate your support in helping Jen and Oakley during this period of heart break and uncertainty.
