For our friend ️

Last November, we lost one of our closest friends to suicide. She was a ray of sunshine who lit up every room with her warmth, infectious laughter, and boundless kindness. Her absence has left a space in our lives that can never truly be filled.

In tribute to the many runs we once shared, filled with laughter, conversation and quiet togetherness, we will be taking on the Folkestone Half Marathon 2025. This time, every mile will be for her, and for those still fighting battles that too often go unseen.

We are raising funds for CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), an incredible charity dedicated to preventing suicide and supporting anyone in crisis. They provide a free, confidential helpline and web chat 365 days a year, and work tirelessly to break the stigma surrounding mental health.

By running in her memory, we hope to raise awareness, spark conversations and remind people that no one is ever truly alone. Every donation, every share, will help CALM continue their vital work and could make the difference between someone feeling lost and someone finding hope.

This is for the friend who once ran beside us, and who will always run with us in spirit
