In Memory of Nico Lombardi: Support His Family

The Lombardi family is deeply grateful for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and donations from the community.

In loving memory of Nico Lombardi, the family is working closely with Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School to establish a Basketball Scholarship in his name. Nico had an incredible love for the game of basketball, and this scholarship will honor his memory by supporting student athletes who share that same love for the sport.

In addition to this scholarship, the family will be making donations to the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Police Athletic League (PAL) in Nico’s honor to establish scholarships as well.

Yesterday, beloved Nico Lombardi was tragically taken from us far too soon in a devastating bike and motor vehicle accident. Nico's sudden passing has left his family and friends heartbroken and in shock. As they navigate this unimaginable loss, we are coming together to support them with the unexpected financial burden of funeral services and medical expenses. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the weight on Nico’s family during this incredibly difficult time. Thank you for your love, prayers, and support.
