In Memory of Nadine: Help Nysa Succeed

My cousin, Nadine, passed away on December 2, 2024. She leaves behind her one and only baby, Nysa June.

Nysa is an incredibly intelligent, beautiful person. I babysat her a lot when she was little. To be quite honest, she was always my favorite kid to watch over. It meant we were spending the whole time watching Family Guy or Animal Planet (her picks), eating snacks, and doing crafts. She was and still is the brightest crayon in the box. She picked up wrestling in her high school days and, of course, she excelled in that, too. She even went on to pursue a college career in wrestling.

Shortly before she graduated from high school earlier this year, her mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. I found myself in her shoes as I went through something similar with my own mom during the same time in my life. Anyone who has witnessed a parent fight for their life can relate.

I can only imagine how difficult this year has been for Nysa with all the changes she went through in this year alone.

I’m starting this GoFundMe for her in hopes that it helps her in any way she needs. It might not change her circumstances, but I know that that this helps get through a difficult time. Thank you in advance for any and all donations.
