Hi, my name is Mikey. I’m 16 years old, and in July this year, I lost my mum to alcohol addiction.

It’s been the hardest thing I’ve ever been through, but I want to do something positive in her memory. I’m raising money for, National Association for Children of Alcoholics (Nacoa) a charity that helps young people who grow up around alcohol abuse — kids who often feel scared, alone, or unsure where to turn.

This cause means a lot to me because I know what it’s like to live with someone battling addiction. If I can help even one young person feel less alone, then my mum’s memory will live on in something good.

Thank you for reading and for supporting my fundraiser. Every donation, no matter how small, means a lot.
