My name is Jacob Baines and I'm one of (retired) MSGT James Baines's sons. He recently passed from a disease that he got while deployed overseas. I loved my father more than words can describe. I've only had you for 26 years and am in complete shock that I will never get any more wisdom, guidance, or his approval. James Baines had 3 biological kids and this is meant to help us kids get through these hard times. The funds raised will assist with immediate expenses, helping to alleviate financial burdens during their period of mourning, as well as counselling, transportation to and from the funeral and burial, a hotel, and anything else that could help during these hard times.

Thank you for your service, Dad. I wish your pain had stopped after the war. You made America proud, Master Sergeant Baines. I will spend the rest of my life trying to make you proud up there. You will forever be an inspiration to me.
