On August 12, 2021, Mia Steburg, age 53, was called home to be with God after a 15-month battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML). Mia was a faithful follower of Jesus, an amazing wife, a loving mother of two sons of Andy (age 17) and Ethan (age 12), and caring friend. She is loved by so many - Mia made the world better during her time here. Mia had such a generous heart, always trying to help other people. Therefore, in lieu of flowers or gifts, we are asking for donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS):

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds leading-edge research for every type of blood cancer, including leukemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and other rare types of blood cancers. One of the LLS key research initiatives is called "Beat AML," which is revolutionizing acute myeloid leukemia (AML) treatment through the first collaborative precision medicine clinical trial in blood cancer.
