In Memory of Meg: Support for Bryson and Jacob

Donation protected
Meg (Margaret Orr) Haines of Lakeville, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on May 15, 2024, leaving behind her two young sons Bryson, 8, and Jacob, 5, her loving husband Brian, her heartbroken family, and many, many friends.

Meg was a wonderful wife, sister, daughter, aunt, and friend, and she loved being mother to her boys, whom she absolutely adored. She enjoyed attending concerts and live performances, hosting holiday parties, vacationing at Newfound Lake in New Hampshire, travelling all over the world, and simply spending quality time with her friends and family, especially her nieces and nephews.

Born and raised in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts, by Ted and the late Jane (Alexander) Haines, alongside her brothers John and Samuel and her sister Abigail (Smith), Meg attended the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and previously worked for the New England Historic Genealogical Society and the Museum of Science in Boston.

She spent the last several years pouring her heart and soul into raising and caring for her children. Her sudden passing has created a void that can never be filled.

All funds raised will go toward the care of Bryson and Jacob, either for their immediate comfort, or as contributions to their college fund. Donations of any amount will be greatly appreciated. On behalf of the Boyd, Haines, and Smith families, please know of our deep gratitude for your love and support.
