It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Maricruz, who passed away on October 26, 2025, after bravely fighting bile duct cancer for the past year.

Our mom was the heart of our family; loving, kind, and selfless. She filled every room with warmth and joy, and her strength inspired everyone who knew her. She loved having people over at our house and it was often filled with aromas and the most delicious food to feed "la comunidad" as she would say. Losing her has left an unfillable space in our lives, but we are comforted knowing she is finally at peace.

We have started this GoFundMe to help cover the funeral and medical expenses. If you’re unable to donate, your prayers, kind words, and sharing of this page mean the world to us. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for the love and support you’ve shown our family.

Con profunda tristeza compartimos el fallecimiento de nuestra amada madre, Maricruz, quien partió el 26 de octubre de 2025 después de luchar valientemente contra cancer durante el último año.

Nuestra mamá fue el corazón de nuestra familia. Llenaba cada lugar con su calidez y alegría, y su fortaleza inspiró a todos los que la conocieron. Le encantaba recibir gente en casa, y con frecuencia el hogar se llenaba de aromas deliciosos y comida para alimentar a "la comunidad”, como ella decía. Su partida ha dejado un vacío imposible de llenar, pero encontramos consuelo sabiendo que ahora descansa en paz.
