<div>It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved mother, Maricruz, who passed away on October 26, 2025, after bravely fighting bile duct cancer for the past year.

<div>Our mom was the heart of our family; loving, kind, and selfless. She filled every room with warmth and joy, and her strength inspired everyone who knew her. She loved having people over at our house and it was often filled with aromas and the most delicious food to feed "la comunidad" as she would say. Losing her has left an unfillable space in our lives, but we are comforted knowing she is finally at peace.
