In Memory of Maria: Support for Family.

Dear friends, family, loved ones, and all those whose lives Maria has touched; It is with great sadness that I am writing this.

On Wednesday, July 30th, the unimaginable happened. My best friend Allie, lost her mother Maria suddenly, and unexpectedly.

Where do I begin explaining Maria? She was SO much! First and foremost Maria was a long time resident of Pitman. Not just a resident, but a resident who absolutely loved and adored the town she lived in, and the people she knew and met throughout her life. I wouldn’t be surprised if everyone who lives in Pitman had met Maria whether they knew it or not.

Maria was such a special person, she always made sure everyone was taken care of, whether that be when she worked at the Manor, or if you entered her home. Maria was FULL, and when I say that I mean full of everything. Full of so much love. The second you stepped foot in her home you immediately felt like you were somewhere safe, free of judgement and could tell her anything. I know myself, and so many others can attest to never entering her home without being offered something to drink and something to eat, almost always her specialty, pepperoni bread. She made your hearts full, and your bellies full, without ever expecting anything in return. She did everything through the kindness of her heart, and hoped others would lead through the kindness of their hearts as well.

This loss comes within just several years of her husband. My best friend Allie and her beautiful son Sebastian, have lost both her parents and his grandparents, within the last few years of each other.

I have setup this GoFundMe to provide support during these difficult times. To allow Allie and her family, the proper time to process, grieve, mourn, and heal from the pain without the worries and stress of funeral expenses, burial arrangements, and bills. Allie has been my best friend for nearly two decades, and to see her go through this type of pain is so incredibly difficult. If you know Allie, you know she is always, just like her mom, everyone’s number one supporter, and always there when you need it. If we can all please come together for her and show support it would be appreciated beyond measures.
