In Memory of Mak (Mayuan Mak, Slimelight London)

Sadly, on the 9th of December 2020, Mak the co-founder, the Spirit of the Slimelight - the longest running alternative dark-scene club in the world has passed on to the next dimension, where no doubt he’s already organising Slimelight alternative events for the rest of us when we follow him.

Without fail, and for the last 33 years, Mak would make sure the club was opened. Floods or snow, whether there was a thousand people or the four die hard Slimelighters that were outnumbered by the staff, Slimelight was opened.

We need to keep the spirit of the Slimelight alive and kicking and continue his heritage. We cannot do this without your help.

All donations from this campaign will go to his family and towards his memorial.
