In Memory of Luka
Donation protected
In memory of our son Luka, we ask that you consider supporting children in Sri Lanka affected by COVID-19. As you are aware there is a surge in coronavirus cases and deaths, and Sri Lanka has declared an economic emergency as the cost of basic foods has increased and there have been shortages of essential items. This has greatly impacted a lot of families back home, and we are hoping to support students and their families during the lockdown in some of the neediest schools in Jaffna, Mannar, Manipay and Killonchi.
We are forever grateful for your consideration and support to these efforts. Our hope is that the funds raised in Luka’s memory will help others back home, especially young children and their families. Through your generosity we can help the children and their families during this lockdown to buy milk powder, samaposha, biscuits, cereal, sugar, flour, rice, soap in addition to clothes and school supplies.
We would like to thank each and every one of you for your support during this time last year. Since the day Luka was born there was an abundance of prayers and an outpouring of love and support. Even though we wish we could have been celebrating with Luka we know he is watching over us. For a little guy he made a huge impact in our lives and this how we would like to honor and remember him. We thank you for your generosity and for helping us continue Luka’s legacy.
We will be raising money for 5 weeks until November 3rd. Please continue to share this with your friends and family, as we are hopeful that we can raise money to help those in need. Thank you for your abundance of love and generosity, we are forever grateful.
We are attaching letters we have received below for your reference. Your generous contributions will be distributed amongst these needy families.
