On Friday, 11/22/24, the rock of our family, my mother-in-law, Lisa Buchanan, was ripped away from us in a fatal car accident. Lisa was a loving grandma, wife, mother, sister, and friend, among many other things. She was a pillar of her community, a hero in the hospital, and an ICU nurse that stopped at nothing to save lives and help people. She had been a loving foster parent to dozens of children and was always willing to lend a hand where a hand was needed. The butterfly effect felt from her loss will be devastating not just to her family but also to her workplace of St. Vincent's Clay and her community.

In the wake of her sudden death, we are asking for your love and support to help her husband, Rod Buchanan, that she left behind. Lisa was a dedicated worker and the breadwinner in her home, and her loss will not only put a strain on our hearts but will leave a gap in financial support for this man who has lost his entire world.

Rod, much like Lisa, is a caring and giving individual who has always bent over to help others. With limited mobility, he has found work where he can at the same hospital Lisa was employed at, but with upcoming expenses, medical conditions and surgeries, and bills, we are asking for your help and love to carry this wonderful man through the hardest time of his life.
